During April to June 2022, JSW Steel reported a 16 percent increase in its combined crude steel output, which totaled 5.88 million tons.

According to a statement from the company, production for the same period last year was 5.07 million tons.

JSW Steel said in a statement that its combined crude steel production for the first quarter of FY23 totaled 5.88 million tons, up 16 percent year over year (YoY). This figure includes production at jointly managed enterprises.

Production decreased by 2% on a quarter-over-quarter basis from 5.98 million tons in January–March 2022.

The company stated that the sequential decrease in crude steel production was caused by the postponement of a few planned shutdowns for the fiscal year 2022–2023

The multifaceted JSW Group's flagship firm, JSW Steel, is India's largest integrated steel producer with an annual production capacity of 28 million tons of steel in both India and the United States.
