According to the corporation, Posco International will provide 23,000 tons of steel for the development of Terminal 2 at Incheon International Airport.

Posco intends to supply a steel wall and low-carbon roofing until the extension construction is finished in 2024.

The business partnered with small and medium-sized businesses whose exterior panel processing processes were certified by Posco Innovilt. Products that are produced entirely of Posco steel and have passed the company's exacting tests for technology and marketability are given the Innovilt certification.

A steel wall refers to an outer covering of a building in which the outer walls are non-structural. Most of the time, it is made mainly of aluminum and steel. Steel has better insulation and fire resistance than other materials such as aluminum. It is an eco-friendly material that generates less carbon and can be recycled.

"The 80,000-square-meter roof of the passenger terminal will be made of high-performance materials like MosMac, a steel material with excellent corrosion resistance, and aluminum-fluorinated steel sheets," a Posco International official said.

Furthermore, Posco International plans to supply non-flammable color steel plates to build the Inspire Resort Complex near Incheon International Airport on Yeongjong Island.
