The leading producer of electric-arc furnace steel in Japan, Tokyo Steel Manufacturing Co Ltd, announced that it will maintain steel product pricing in November in order to reflect poor global demand and sluggish local business.
For the second consecutive month, the business has maintained the same prices for all of its steel goods, including its primary H-shaped beams.
Hot rolled coil costs will continue at JPY 115,000 (USD 772) per ton in November, while H-beam costs will remain at JPY 124,000 (USD 833) per ton.
