Welspun Corp Ltd (WCL), an Indian pipe manufacturer, announced that it has received a contract for the sale of LSAW pipes and curves to the Middle East.
"WCL is delighted to tell you that it has been granted a distinguished contract for sale of LSAW Pipes and Bends to the Middle East," the Mumbai-based business said in an exchange statement. "This contract will be carried out from its premises in Anjar, India, in FY 23-24."
The project proprietor will have the choice to coat the roughly 83,000 tons of bare pipes after the deal is completed.
Welspun Corp added that the Middle East will use the provided pipelines for offshore gas production and transportation, which will hasten and improve the infrastructure for LNG export in one of the major LNG generating and exporting nations in the globe.
With production sites in India capable of producing about 1.85 million tons of textiles annually, Welspun Corp. is present in Saudi Arabia, the US, and India.
