Turkey's hot rolled coil (HRC) exports declined in June 2026, as weaker demand from key European markets continued to pressure overseas shipments.
According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), the country exported 165,118 metric tons of HRC in June, down 15.8% from 196,141 mt in May and 18.7% lower than 203,143 mt recorded in June 2025.
In terms of value, HRC exports totaled $93.7 million, decreasing 14.6% month on month and 25.3% compared with the same month last year.
Italy, Spain and Portugal remained among Turkey's key HRC export destinations. However, softer demand across the European Union and continued trade protection measures limited export volumes during the month.
