Hoa Sen Group is the first Vietnamese enterprise to export 20,000 tons of finished steel sheets to the U.S. market. This is one of the largest batch of finished steel sheets in Vietnam exported to the US market worth 10 million USD. This batch was exported to the United States on February 2016 at the SSIT port, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province.
The shipment includes 100% of the finished cold rolled coil, under standard ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials), BS EN standard (British Standards European Norm), and JIS standard (Japanese Industrial Standards).
The procedures to issue a shipment of 20,000 tons of finished steel sheets to K.Opal ship to the U.S. on February 29th, 2016 at SSIT Port, Phuoc Hoa Commune, Tan Thanh District, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province.
Mr. Le Phuoc Vu, Chairman of Hoa Sen Group, said that products are available in the US market from 2014 to September 2015, Export activities have increased rapidly. Annual export revenue currently accounts for about 40% of Hoa Sen Group Total Revenue.

With 4 determinants of competitiveness of products, including International-Standard quality, reasonable price, quick delivery and good after-sales, Hoa Sen Group satisfied all the requirements of customers in the world's leading economy, "Mr. Vu said.
Hoa Sen Group focuses on improving product quality to meet domestic and international quality standards.
Mr. Nguyen Van Trinh - Chairman of Ba Ria - Vung Tau People's Committee said that Hoa Sen Steel Sheet shipments of 20,000 tons of finished steel sheets to the United States is matched with the Export Project of the provine to 2020 and measures to improve the capacity of the port system in the province. In 2015, Hoa Sen Group has brought more than 400,000 tons of products to more than 60 markets in the world, especially in difficult markets such as US, bringing in revenue of more than $ 300 million. This has contributed to Ba Ria - Vung Tau province fully achieved the development plan in the past year.
Mr. Tran Tuan Anh, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, acknowledged that Hoa Sen Group exported a large amount of goods to the US shows that there is always the connection of the development of enterprises and the process of integration and development of the country. By accessing a difficult markets such as the US with large-scale, high level of competition, this can demonstrate that domestic and private enterprises can fully intergrate effectively with fair and equal competition in global market.
This proves Vietnamese enterprises owning modern technology can access global market, improve labor productivity and product quality. The Ministry of Industry and Trade will study and propose solutions and legal corridors to create conditions for domestic enterprises to stand and continue to develop into foreign markets in the future.

These export activities of Hoa Sen once again strongly affirmed the quality of Hoa Sen Group's products, at the same time, it has strengthened its position in the US market as well as the world, aiming to become the leading supplier and distributor of construction materials in Southeast Asia.
