With an annual capacity of approximately 3 million tons of cut-to-length and discrete plate, the group plays a vital role in supplying plate products for various industries. These include military applications, as well as manufacturing for barges, bridges, heavy equipment, rail cars, refinery tanks, ships, wind towers, and other items crucial to the pipe and tube, pressure vessel, transportation, and construction sectors.

This substantial investment positions Nucor Corporation to not only maintain its competitive edge in the global steel industry but also to spearhead advancements that align with evolving market demands. The modernization project is poised to make a lasting impact on the industry landscape, opening new avenues for growth and innovation.
