The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) has released the final results of its administrative reviews concerning antidumping (AD) and countervailing duties (CVD) on light-walled rectangular pipe and tube from China.
The reviews cover two periods: August 1, 2022, to July 31, 2023, for AD, and January 1, 2022, to December 31, 2022, for CVD.
The DOC determined that Hoa Phat Steel Pipe Company Limited had no shipments of the subject products from China during the reviewed periods. As a result, Hoa Phat is now eligible to participate in the certification program tied to the existing AD and CVD orders on these products.
The review findings maintain current duty structures while offering compliance opportunities to qualifying firms like Hoa Phat.
