The investigation was launched following a complaint filed by local steelmakers, who argued that increasing imports have negatively affected production, sales performance and competitiveness within the domestic market.

The probe will assess whether imported coated steel products have entered Ukraine at dumped prices and whether such imports have caused material injury to the country's steel industry.

  • The investigation covers coated steel imports from four countries
  • Authorities will examine pricing practices and market impact
  • Domestic producers allege unfair competition from imported products
  • Potential trade measures could be imposed if dumping is confirmed

The investigation is expected to continue over the coming months, with Ukrainian authorities reviewing trade data, import volumes and market conditions before reaching a final decision.
