Ukraine has initiated a new antidumping investigation into imports of welded, non-galvanized steel pipes from Turkey, following a decision by the Interdepartmental Commission on International Trade (ICIT) published on January 29.

The probe was launched after complaints from domestic producers Ilyich Steel, Zaporizhstal, DMZ Kominmet and Trubostal, which alleged that Turkish products were sold at dumped prices between 2021 and the fourth quarter of 2025. According to the applicants, import volumes rose 348% relative to domestic consumption and 692% compared to local production during the period under review.

The products subject to the investigation fall under customs codes 7306 30 49 90, 7306 30 77 90, 7306 30 80 90, 7306 30 1200, 7306 61 92 00, and 7306 61 99 00.

Separately, Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture Oleksiy Sobolev announced that existing antidumping duties on steel rod imports from Belarus and Moldova will be extended for another five years, reinforcing Ukraine’s broader trade defense measures.
