The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has announced the final results of its administrative review of the antidumping duty (AD) order on prestressed concrete steel wire strand (PC strand) imports from Spain.
The review covered the period from June 1, 2023, to May 31, 2024.
According to the DOC, Global Special Steel Products S.A.U. sold the subject merchandise in the US market at less than normal value during the review period.
As a result, the department assigned a final weighted-average dumping margin of 11.32% for the company, revised down from the 13.14% preliminary margin issued earlier.
The ruling may impact future import costs and trade flows of Spanish PC strand into the US market.
