The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has released preliminary results of its antidumping review on circular welded non-alloy steel pipe (CWP) imports from South Korea.
The review covers shipments between November 1, 2023 and October 31, 2024.
The DOC found that:
- Hyundai Steel Company and Hyundai Steel Pipe sold products at less than fair value, receiving a 4.19% dumping margin
- Husteel Co., Ltd. received a 0.00% margin
Six additional South Korean exporters were assigned the same 4.19% rate based on Hyundai Steel’s results.
The DOC also rescinded the review for 14 other companies that had no reviewable entries.
