Ukraine’s Zaporizhstal Iron and Steel Works (Metinvest Group) has completed a major UAH 370 million (US$8 million) repair and renovation program across several core production units.
Key upgrades included:

Overhaul of Blast Furnace No. 3, including its gas-cleaning system and aspiration units

Repairs and modernization in the open-hearth shop, including the two-bath steelmaking unit

Extensive restoration in the hot rolling shop, covering the slabbing mill-1150, BTLS-1680, and auxiliary equipment such as shears and pincer cranes
Additionally, Zaporizhstal has allocated UAH 75 million (US$1.78 million) for an upcoming overhaul of critical thermal power plant systems to reinforce energy stability and maintain operational continuity.
