Baowu Group Zhongnan Steel and China Pingmei Shenma Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement on March 2, strengthening collaboration across China’s coal, coke and steel value chains.
Under the agreement, both companies will prioritize the allocation of high-quality resources to high-performing subsidiaries, aiming to improve efficiency and maximize complementary strengths. The partnership is aligned with strategic directives set by senior management at both groups.
The two sides also agreed to deepen upstream–downstream cooperation, with a focus on enhancing the synergistic development of the coal–coke–steel industrial and supply chains, supporting long-term operational stability and competitiveness.
