Fives Group, a machinery industry company headquartered in France, has revealed its plans to create and provide an exceptionally advanced galvanizing line for the Pesquería plant owned by Ternium Mexico. Ternium Mexico is a subsidiary of Ternium, a company based in Luxembourg.
This cutting-edge production line will boast an impressive manufacturing capacity, with the ability to process up to 600,000 metric tons. It will have the capability to galvanize broad sheets, measuring up to 4.5 mm in thickness and 1,854 mm in width. These sheets will be sourced from both cold and hot-rolled base coils, serving applications in construction and automotive sectors that don't require exposure to the elements.
Anticipated to be operational by the conclusion of 2025, the first coil is on track to be manufactured around that time.
