Thailand’s Ministry of Commerce has concluded its antidumping (AD) investigation into hot-rolled H-beam steel from China, determining that Chinese exporters dumped products on the Thai market, causing injury to domestic producers.
The ministry imposed AD duties of 30.86% on Maanshan Iron & Steel and 54.19% on Hebei Jinxi Section Steel and other Chinese exporters, effective for five years.
The affected products fall under tariff codes 7216.33.11.000, 7216.33.19.000, and 7216.33.90.000.
The investigation was initially launched on November 4, 2024, following complaints from local industry stakeholders.
