According to a filing by the firm, the price for a ton of lump ore will be INR 4,100 (US$51.5) and for a ton of fines, it would be INR 2,910 (US$36.5).
Since August 11, when the mining giant raised the price of lump ore by INR 200 (USD 2.5) per ton and that of fines by INR 100 (USD 1.5) per ton, these rates have been in effect.
The modification made last month was the first one that NMDC has made to the up side this fiscal.
The main corporation in the nation that produces and sells iron ore is NMDC, which is under the ministry of steel.
