The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has issued preliminary results of its administrative review of the antidumping duty order on hot-rolled steel flat products from Japan.
The review covers the period from October 1, 2023, to September 30, 2024.
The DOC preliminarily found that several Japanese exporters sold products in the US at less than normal value.
A weighted-average dumping margin of 13.07% was assigned to companies including:
- Nippon Steel
- JFE Steel Corporation
- Nippon Steel Trading Corporation
- Other affiliated exporters and trading firms
Meanwhile, Tokyo Steel Manufacturing Co., Ltd. received a 0.00% margin.
The DOC said final results are expected within 120 days of publication.
