The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has released its preliminary results in the antidumping duty (AD) administrative review covering imports of welded stainless pressure pipe (WSPP) from India for the period between November 1, 2023 and October 31, 2024.
According to the DOC, Suncity Metals & Tubes Private Limited was found to have sold subject merchandise in the US market at less than normal value during the review period. The company received a preliminary weighted-average dumping margin of 0.96 percent.
Meanwhile, the DOC announced it is rescinding the review for several Indian producers after review requests were withdrawn, including:
- Jindal Saw Limited
- Prakash Steelage Ltd.
- Seth Steelage Private Limited
- Ratnamani Metals & Tubes Ltd.
The final determination is expected following further review and stakeholder comments.
