US rebar exports recorded a sharp monthly rebound in January 2026, according to official trade data.
Total exports reached 13,026 metric tons, marking a 293.4% increase month-on-month, although still down 55.6% compared to January 2025.
In value terms, exports rose to $11.78 million, up from $2.9 million in December but below $22.69 million a year earlier.
Canada remained the dominant destination, accounting for 11,865 metric tons, while no other market exceeded 1,000 metric tons during the month.
