For its expansion project in Hazira, Gujarat, AMNS India received 1,800 tons of structural steel from RINL, a company situated in Visakhapatnam.
The Gujarat-based steel manufacturer AMNS India started the expansion project to increase the capacity of its steel plant from around 9 million tons to 15 million tons.
With a capacity of around 7.5 million tons per year, RINL, which falls under the Ministry of Steel, is one of the top six steel manufacturers in the nation.
ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel (AMNS) India is a joint venture (JV) between the Japanese corporation Nippon Steel and the Luxembourg-based ArcelorMittal.
The Gujarati facility of Essar Steel Limited was acquired by the two businesses in 2019 and afterwards given the name AMNS India.
