Stellantis is considering investing around $10 billion to expand its manufacturing footprint in Illinois and Michigan, according to Bloomberg.
The proposed investment would support plant reopenings, new model launches, job creation, and production expansion for brands such as Jeep and RAM.
The plan is aimed at strengthening supply chain resilience, reducing tariff exposure, and aligning with ongoing US–EU trade negotiations.
While negotiations are still in progress and no final decision has been made, this would mark one of Stellantis’ largest US investments to date.
