Australia’s Antidumping Commission has concluded its review of antidumping duties on rebar imports from China, covering the period from April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025.

The commission found that removing the measures would likely result in continued or renewed dumping and material injury to the domestic industry. As a result, it has recommended that the duties remain in force.

Under the revised findings, Baowu Group Echeng Iron and Steel will remain subject to a floor price mechanism, while all other Chinese exporters will see duties increase to 23.7 percent, up from 19.0 percent.

The products concerned include rebar in diameters up to 50 mm, classified under multiple Australian customs tariff codes.
