According to authorities, Hyundai Steel has created a "Smart Enterprise system," a sophisticated management software that uses AI technology to control everything from manufacturing to sales and infrastructure management.

According to Hyundai Steel, the new system uses big data and AI technologies to enhance every step of the steel mill process, from manufacture to sales.

According to an official, "the business will complete the Smart Enterprise system by establishing the most optimal decision-making process based on customers through data merging through technology."

A task force team has been formed to develop a platform that collects and combines data in order to reinvent the workplace's infrastructure system, production management, and manufacturing processes. The new system will be ready for full operation by 2025, the business stated.

The steelmaker's plants will also install an AI-based production system by modernizing instrument control modules for operations like steelmaking and steel rolling so they can more precisely regulate and measure raw materials. The business claimed to be working on the creation of an instrument control module that will automatically learn how to combine with other controlling data regarding industrial operations. Such a cutting-edge module will also be used in other corporate processes, enabling it to monitor mistakes throughout the whole manufacturing process and make accurate decisions based on data.

Hyundai Steel has partnered with regional businesses to invest in the creation of PTOP-VsensorTM solution, a virtual sensor technology.
