As of February 28 this year, China's domestic inventories of the five main finished steel products across 21 major cities reached a total of 11.03 million mt, marking an increase of 300,000 mt, or 2.8%, compared to February 20, according to the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA).
Breaking it down by product, medium steel plate inventories decreased by 0.8%, while inventories of HRC (Hot-Rolled Coil), CRC (Cold-Rolled Coil), wire rod, and rebar saw increases of 4.7%, 0.9%, 3.7%, and 3.0%, respectively, compared to February 20.
