Japan-based Tetsusho Corporation, an affiliate of Nippon Steel Corporation, has established three new wholly owned subsidiaries in India, Vietnam, and Bangladesh, marking a major expansion across Asia’s fast-growing steel and manufacturing markets.

The new offices are located in Mumbai, Da Nang, and Dhaka, and are fully operational as of October 2025. This strategic move is aimed at strengthening Tetsusho’s engagement in local and trilateral trade, and building faster, more responsive steel supply networks in South and Southeast Asia.

With these new subsidiaries, Tetsusho now operates in seven countries, including South Korea, Indonesia, China, and Sri Lanka. Founded in 1957, the Tokyo-based company has evolved from a domestic distributor into a diversified international trader supplying a wide range of steel products from major Japanese producers.
