According to industrial statistics, the main steel mills in China reported a 7.25 percent decline in their average daily output of crude steel in late July compared to mid-July.
As of the end of July, the China Iron and Steel Association reported that the daily production of crude steel was 1.89 million tons (CISA).
The report revealed that major steel companies produced 20.79 million tons of crude steel overall in late July.
The statistics indicated that during this time, daily pig iron output decreased by 7.72 percent from mid-July while daily rolled steel production decreased by 5.35 percent.
